eConsult

Appointmentscalendar

Consultations are by appointments and can be booked in person, by telephone or online.

All patients have the right to express a preference to see a particular doctor or nurse and, as far as possible, we will endeavour to accommodate your request. All doctors and nurses have a limited number of appointments available and if all the appointments for a particular doctor/nurse have been allocated, it will not be possible to see that person.

Likewise, if you need to see a doctor urgently, the only available doctor may be the duty doctor for that day. If you wish to see a particular doctor, you should advise the receptionist when you make your appointment.  If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation, please also ask at reception.

Urgent Appointments

If the matter is urgent, please make sure that you inform the receptionist when booking. An urgent matter is a medical condition that cannot wait to be attended to on another day. The Receptionist will pass the information to the Doctor who will then decide the most appropriate action to take, this could be by dealing with it over the phone or by offering you a face to face appointment at the surgery.

Routine Telephone Advice

If you want some advice from a doctor or nurse over the telephone, we have routine telephone appointment available to pre book.

Patient Online Access

This service allows you to go online to view a summary of your medical history, allergies and medication. You can request repeat medication and book/cancel appointments.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
