When We Are Closed
If you need to see a doctor outside of surgery hours please ring 111. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles (although pay-as-you-go mobiles must have at least 1p credit). You may be asked to attend the local treatment centre which is at Poole Hospital.
Alternatively you can access urgent assistance by calling NHS Direct on 0845 4647. A triage nurse will assess your situation and take appropriate action. This could simply be by offering advice or where necessary by making arrangements for you to be seen by a doctor.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
The surgery will be closed on the following bank holidays;
New Years Day
If you feel you need urgent treatment on these days, please contact 111 or for any emergency please call 999.
